FlowfalMidiNote Plugin

This plugin uses movement from a Flowfal device to trigger the production of a MIDI note.

The channel selector and input drop-down list of the plugin behave in the same way as all the other Flowfal plugins - see the Common Controls section.

The right hand side of the plugin allows the user to select the Threshold at which the note is triggered. The Hysteresis value controls the percentage the signal needs to fall from the trigger threshold to switch the trigger off.

The Note control selects the MIDI Note that is output when the device is triggered.

The Repeat selector allows you to choose between three repeat modes:

  • No Repeat - don't repeat the triggering of this note
  • Time ms - repeat the note every set time period in milliseconds
  • 1/4 Notes - repeat the note every set amount of 1/4 notes

The Vary setting controls what percentage of randomness is applied to the repeat time. 0% means no randomness is applied, 100% means the time can vary by +/- 100% of the repeat time.

The Scale control changes how much the note velocity is controlled by the velocity of the input.

The Velocity Min and Max controls set the minimum and maximum velocity of the note produced.
