For performances you will often not want to be selecting different channels on the phone or watch. Locking the device channel allows you to set the device to a fixed channel which is then hard to accidentally change.

This is particularly important for dancers and other physical performers who will end up touching a watch interface in the course of their performance.

When in lock mode the app will remember the setting and always start up locked to a given channel.

Because Flowfal devices will be being moved around a lot, and there are lots of opportunities for the screen to be accidentally touched, there is no traditional menu button in the Flowfal App.

Instead: to bring up the menu on the phone version of the app click the Flowfal logo 7 times in rapid succession. For the watch version of the app click on the 'No Sound' channel 7 times in rapid succession.

When the menu screen is displayed select the Lock To Channel option. This menu setting allows you to switch lock mode on and off.

To switch the lock on: press the Up and Down buttons to change the channel number the app should lock to.

To switch the lock off: press the Down button until Off is displayed.
